(July 21, 2016) … Not really sure I have anything good to report here: Either the wood has taken over or there is a slight corkiness to this wine – there is also an undercurrent of smoky, earthy, and bretty notes with some dried dark fruit and leather on the finish. It was far from enjoyable so I had a half glass before I tapped out and dumped the rest. Hey, they can’t all be gems.
