Some big-name producers took the year off because they were not ready with their Pieve offering, and so the show ran with the wines they had.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There still seemed to be enough, with 54 wines hitting the bottom of the glass: Annatas, Riservas, and back vintages. Top wine was made by Boscarelli, with whom I did a podcast interview, along with principals from Poliziano. So there&#8217;s some great listening out there, or coming, depending when you&#8217;re reading this.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Boscarelli had two of the top four wines, while Icario and Lunadoro took the other two spots.
