No problems to report. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-6260\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.michaelpinkuswinereview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Banfi_2.jpg\" alt=\"Banfi Poggio Mura Rosso\" style=\"margin-left: 7px; float: right;\" width=\"156\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>NOSE:<\/strong>&nbsp; Raspberry and black cherry aromas &#8230; I&#8217;m happy with that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TASTE:<\/strong>&nbsp; Palate shows more licorice and cedar than it does the fruits described on the nose, nice tannin structure; within half-an-hour this wine has already begun to change it&#8217;s character as the fruit starts to drop out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2 hrs later<\/strong> &#8230; Smooth, across the tongue, those tannins have almost disappeared replaced by licorice and a good level of acidity &#8211; though it is getting leaner: there is little else holding my interest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 hrs later<\/strong> &#8230; There&#8217;s very little fruit present, that lean quality has taken over. Cedar is now dominating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>16 hours later<\/strong> &#8230; Dusty &#8230; Not dead, just really dusty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bottom Line<\/strong> &#8230; Not a wine to hold anymore. It&#8217;s ready and ready within the first hour.
