At the 2 hour mark, little has changed; it keeps the dark fruit core with an underlay of cedar and smoky notes &#8211; but across the palate it is silky smooth with low-grade tannin grit..<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-6212\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.michaelpinkuswinereview.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Apalta_2004_c.png\" alt=\"Apalta Bottle\" style=\"margin-right: 7px; float: left;\" width=\"200\" height=\"197\" \/>Bottom Line &#8230;<\/strong><br \/>I&#8217;d like to say the wine changed through the time I had it open.
