Another winery spotlight, and this time I’m looking at the current wines of Leaning Post … Winemaker Ilya Senchuk and his wife Nadia own the the farm and their own little piece of heaven (and a chicken is never far from the front door of the tasting room), their winery is one of the first you’ll pass on your drive from Toronto to Niagara, a mere 50 minutes from the big city (on a “good”  traffic day). Their newly renovated and redesigned tasting room is comfortable and ready to greet you, and is a far cry from the old beat up barn experience it once was … and Ilya is making a number of wines that will both please the masses as well as those special wines he makes for himself, that he hopes you will like too. Below is a list of my 6 top rated, and most exciting, wines currently in their portfolio.<\/p>\n
