I have gone back to many and learned that in some rare cases the petrol subsides, but in others it seems even more pungent &#8230; This Norm Hardie had aromas rich in patrol and kerosene, thankfully I don&#8217;t smoke as I would be fearful I&#8217;d light the place on fire. Palate had a little more depth showing lime and apricot, but still with a little kerosene on the palate and a little oxidized apple on the finish. The acidity seemed to mellow with some time in glass, making it a very mellow drink with lime meringue and an apple juice finish &#8230; I would have to say as interesting and educational as it was this wine has not stood the test of time.
