(December 19, 2015) … Living on the Eastern side of the country (and a different country at that) means Washington State wines are few and far between, after all they make only about 4% of the total wine production in the US – and surprisingly that still puts them in the top 5.  I picked this bottle up at a Meijer in Michigan (think Wal-Mart but classier), I was just looking for something different that I couldn’t get at home; what I got was a pretty simple wine with plum, blueberry, smoky-vanilla, and black cherry; though I was a little taken aback to find it was a touch grittier than expected on the finish. Decent bottle for a simple evening.
