(March 23, 2022) … The welcome dinner in Montepulciano is dedicated to Nobile and all the interesting (and back vintage) wines offered up for tasting during the meal. In the past, it has been a buffet that has local meats, cheeses and hot dishes … It has been a highlight of the Nobile Anteprime welcome dinner for a long time. This year, due to pandemic protocols, the buffet was out; and chef Gaetano Truvato (two Michelin stars) was in; and what a delicious dinner he prepared. There were times you wished for more:
1- Turbo, Almond, Asparagus
2- Parppardella stuffed with Valdarno Guinea Fowl, Turnip tops
3- Chianina IGP, Braised Red Onion, Topinambur
4- Zuccotto, Chocolate Copper Zabaiona, Vin Santo
