September 15, 2019 … This rebellious Pinot Noir starts off a little harsh with both tannins and oak leading the charge on the palate and nose … But as it continues to have oxygen added to it the fruit begins to emerge and things start coming into focus. At the hour mark things have evened out – there is a lovely freshness that has materialized and the wine has hit its stride. We decided to have pot roast for dinner and it turned out to be a good option. What also made this such a good dinner pairing was the great acidity and spice on the finish.
