(April 12, 2017) … I tried one throw-away wine earlier in the evening (Chateau des Charmes 2010 Gamay Noir Droit) so I thought I’d push my luck with this 12 year old Hullabaloo Zinfandel, and yes lightning did strike twice: spiced plum and blackberry take charge from beginning to end, it’s simple but still quite nice and easy to drink.
